Fans get first glimpse of new away kit on Roblox

That is because our brand-new blue strip dropped on the immersive experience platform yesterday (Wednesday) evening, allowing supporters on it an exclusive first look before its formal unveiling. 

Thanks to the adidas Outfit Creator experience on Roblox, Reds are able to dress their avatar up in the shirt, shorts and socks of the new away kit, while the real-life wear is also available to buy now via United Direct and at the Old Trafford Megastore.

It follows on from the release of our ’24/25 home kit on Roblox, along with further adidas x United apparel items at the start of July, allowing fans to showcase their love for the Reds as they play, explore and interact on the platform, which welcomes more than 77 million users daily. 

All items are available in a bespoke experiential shop that features our colours, where supporters can view the club’s honours board, see images of players from Erik ten Hag and Marc Skinner’s squads and watch a wall-sized video documenting United’s illustrious history.

Along with both kits now, fans also have the option to adorn their avatar in the 2024/25 anthem jacket and pre-match shirt, while having club mascot Fred the Red on their shoulder as the ultimate in-game accessory.

Many eagle-eyed United supporters spotted our away kit’s early release overnight – perhaps in thanks to it being shared by a high-profile Roblox influencer, Lana Rae. Lana took to TikTok to reveal that the adidas Outfit Creator experience was the first place worldwide that fans could get a glimpse of United’s away strip for 2024/25.
