Our legendary Dutch forward was placed in interim charge following Erik ten Hag's exit last month and remained unbeaten during his short temporary tenure, winning three games and drawing one.
Bruno Fernandes fired United ahead, before City defender Victor Kristiansen put through his own net.
Alejandro Garnacho made sure of the win late on with a thunderous strike that flew into the top corner, with plenty of players impressing throughout the 90 minutes.
But one man in particular led the way via our fan poll and we can now announce which Red has scooped the award...

ArticleThe Reds put on a show in Ruud van Nistelrooy's final game as interim boss.
Taking a whopping 61 per cent of the vote, captain Fernandes made it a day to remember by also winning our Man-of-the-Match prize.
Our Portuguese magnifico scored a brilliant opener with just 17 minutes played, combining well with Amad to take his United tally to 83 goals in all competitions - overtaking Eric Cantona in our all-time scoring list in the process.
Fernandes may have thought he'd grabbed another soon after, with Noussair Mazraoui's cross falling to our no.8 inside the area.
Unfortunately for him, the last touch came off Kristiansen, but his involvement once again was impressive to say the least.
After Christian Eriksen found Fernandes in the middle of the park, he charged forward before teeing up Garnacho to smash an effort into the net.
Such was the delight, the Reds celebrated in style in front of a joyous Stretford End, on an afternoon to remember for everyone at the Theatre of Dreams.
But the plaudits must go to Bruno, as he also brought up 250 appearances for the club, which was celebrated in the best possible way with three points.
Congratulations to Fernandes, a worthy winner this afternoon!
